LVMS BULLRING HOSTS APRIL 6 WESTERN IGNITES;
 
DAWSON TAKES LAKE HAVASU OPENER
 
Bryant Dawson of Phoenix, Ariz. led the final 20 laps to win Saturday night’s 30-lap USAC Western Ignite Pavement Midget opener at Havasu 95 Speedway.
 
Dawson passed Michael Fanelli on lap 11 and led the rest of the way. Fanelli led the first 10 laps and finished second ahead of Shawn Buckley, Jarid Blondel and George Blacker.
 
The series resumes April 6 at the Las Vegas (Nev.) Bullring where Dawson captured the 2012 USAC Las Vegas Ignite title. Dawson scored five features at the LVMS oval last year.
