WALMER TAKES 2, THOMPSON 1 IN STOCKTON FOCUSES

 


Stockton, CA……..Keegan Walmer of Portland, Ore. and Cody Thompson of Fremont, Calif. were winners in USAC Ford Focus action Saturday night at the Stockton 99 Speedway. Walmer won the first of two 40-lap Ford Focus races and the 20-lap Focus Young Guns feature, while Thompson won the second 40-lap Ford Focus feature. Thompson finished second in the Focus opener, followed by Austin Farley, Cody Gerhardt and Bobby Runyan, In the Focus nightcap, Walmer was second ahead of Gerhardt, Runyan and Nick Carlson. In the Young Guns main, Walmer was trailed by Thompson, Farley and Brandon White.
