FRANKOSKI EXTENDS CAROLINA LEAD WITH HICKORY VICTORY

Hickory, NC…….Jeremy Frankoski of Huntersville, N.C. extended his lead in the 2009 USAC Carolina Ford Focus Series standings Saturday night, winning the 35-lap feature event at Hickory Motor Speedway. Piloting the Tracy Trotter Calico Coatings machine, Frankoski took the lead from Michael Sboro on the 17th lap and led the rest of the way to beat Sboro, Scott Hunter, Steven Intravaia and Shane MacMillan. Intravaia led the first two laps and Sboro the next 14 before yielding to Frankoski.
