BLACKHURST & McGEE WIN AT SPEEDROME; FOCUS TRACK TITLES TO LIGUORI & CLOUSE

 


Indianapolis, IN……..Jake Blackhurst of Mapleton, Ill. and Max McGee of Camby, Ind. won USAC Ford Focus and Young Guns features during “Mack McClellan Night” at the Indianapolis Speedrome Wednesday night. Joe Liguori (Ford Focus) and Cooper Clouse (Young Guns) ended up as track champions in the process. Blackhurst passed Andy Nock on the 27th lap and led the final 14 laps to win the 40-lap Ford Focus race in his Kitchen Cooked/Schroth Racing Beast, beating Nock, Nick Drake, Liguori and Kyle O’Gara. In the Young Guns feature, McGee led all 25 laps in his Pit Stop Bar-B-Q/C & R Racing Beast to beat Austin Prock, Clouse, Brendon Bock and Ross Rankine.
