SULYI WINS SWANSBORO SWANSONG & USAC EASTERN TITLE IN ONE FELL SWOOP

Swansboro, North Carolina (October 15, 2023)………Logan Sulyi doubled up in the best possible way during Sunday’s 2023 USAC Eastern Focus Midget swansong at Swansboro, North Carolina’s Carteret County Speedway.

Sulyi (Raleigh, N.C.) corralled the feature win in the season finale and collected enough points to claim the series title by one single, solitary position over J.T. Bierman.

Bierman finished as the runner-up in both the race and the point standings, finishing just 0.349 sec. behind Sulyi at the stripe and just one position out of the season championship.

Dillon Thomas (Clover, S.C.) paced the field for the initial five laps before Sulyi took over and led the remaining 30 laps to earn his third feature victory of the year and his first series championship under the USAC Eastern Focus Midget banner.

Chris Lamb (Colfax, N.C.) finished third in the feature ahead of Thomas while Keegan Walmer (Concord, N.C.) rounded out the top-five.
