LAMB HAS “DOMINION” OVER EASTERN MIDGETS AT DOMINION
Spotsylvania, Virginia (October 2, 2021)………Chris Lamb became the first driver to reach five victories in USAC Eastern SpeeD2 Midget competition this season while also becoming the first driver to reach the finish line during Saturday night’s event at Spotsylvania, Virginia’s Dominion Raceway.
Three-time champion Lamb (Colfax, N.C.) scored his record 54th career series victory by a commanding 5.122 second margin after leading all 35 laps of the feature. Point leader Jessica Bean (Farmland, Ind.) finished as the runner-up and maintains control of the series standings by extending her lead to 56.
Sam Mazzo (Burns, Tenn.) took third at Dominion with Peyton Ferree (Fredericksburg, Va.) fourth and Brady Allum (Gold Hill, N.C.) rounding out the top-five.
