TOLEDO SPEEDWAY APPROVED FOR FANS, USAC SILVER CROWN RACE ON FOR OCT. 4
Toledo, Ohio (September 1, 2020)………Toledo Speedway management has received permission to conduct racing events with spectators in the grandstands.
Toledo Speedway is finalizing plans to host race teams with fans in the grandstands for the Sunday, October 4, Hemelgarn Racing/Super Fitness Rollie Beale Classic USAC Silver Crown event. Grandstand ticketing will be limited to 1,500 with a standard admission price for all events of $25 per person, with specified seating locations to ensure social distancing and presale offering contactless purchasing.
With limited seating for each event, fans are encouraged to purchase their tickets as soon as possible. Tickets go on sale Tuesday, September 1 at 9am ET. All tickets are $25 each, and tickets will ONLY be available online at www.toledospeedway.com.
In accordance with the August 19 State of Ohio Department of Health Director’s Order, Toledo Speedway’s plan for strict adherence to the guidelines outlined has resulted in approval by the Toledo-Lucas County Health Department for limited spectator attendance in the grandstands.
As a priority, the safety and health of participants, spectators and employees will require all attendees to follow guidelines posted at www.toledospeedway.com as a condition for admission.
USAC’s tradition of racing at Toledo Speedway dates back to the 1960s, and on October 4, the USAC Silver Crown Champ Car Series will be on hand as scheduled. The Rollie Beale Classic will also include racing for four divisions of ARCA stock cars featuring local drivers—the ARCA Sportsman, ARCA Street Stock, ARCA Figure-8 and ARCA Factory Stock classes. The afternoon season finale will have the spectator gates opening at Noon ET and racing starting at 2pm.
