SEAVEY SECURES PROSOURCE T-TOWN PASSING MASTER TITLE
Tulsa, Oklahoma (May 23, 2020)………Logan Seavey’s 29 total passes throughout this past weekend’s USAC NOS Energy Drink National Midget Werco Manufacturing T-Town Midget Showdown presented by B & H Contractors at Port City Raceway in Tulsa, Okla. earned him the event’s ProSource Passing Master title.
The Sutter, Calif. driver and 2018 series champion charged from 19th starting position to 2nd in Friday night’s feature, then drove from 16th to 5th in Saturday’s main event, with an additional pass earlier that night in the semi-feature added to his overall total.
The event marked the Midget debut for the new Arizona-based Reinbold-Underwood Motorsports team who captured the 2019 USAC AMSOIL Sprint Car National Championship owner’s title with driver C.J. Leary.
Seavey’s tally of 29 over the weekend earned him $200 from ProSource. That’s accounting for passes throughout all the heats, C-Mains, semi-features and feature during the weekend.
Andrew Layser (Collegeville, Pa.) was second behind Seavey with 22 positions advanced at Port City while Matt Sherrell (Owasso, Okla.) was third with 16; Blake Hahn (Sapulpa, Okla.) was fourth with 15; and Tanner Carrick (Lincoln, Calif.) was fifth with 13.
