20-RACE USAC SOUTHWEST SPRINT SEASON BEGINS FEB. 14

Speedway, Indiana (January 22, 2020)………The 2020 USAC Sands Chevrolet Southwest Sprint Car season is nearly ready to commence with a pair of upcoming races on February 14-15, the Steve Stroud Memorial, at Canyon Speedway Park in Peoria, Ariz.

The series stays put at Canyon for two additional back-to-back nights with the AMSOIL USAC/CRA Sprint Cars on March 6-7 at the Spring Showcase.

April begins with a trip to Arizona Speedway in San Tan Valley for the Lealand McSpadden Classic on the 4^th while Central Arizona Speedway in Casa Grande awaits the series on Easter weekend, April 11.

Southwest Sprints return to Canyon on May 16 for the Duel at the Diamond followed by a visit to round out the month at Arizona Speedway on May 30.

Canyon is back on tap once again for the lone series date in June on Father’s Day Weekend, June 20, followed by a pair of battles with the CRA on their home turf at California’s Perris Auto Speedway on July 25 and August 22, California Racers Hall of Fame Night.

As Autumn looms, Canyon is the host for the Fall Brawl on September 19, then it’s back to Arizona Speedway for the Hall of Fame Classic on October 3 with CRA, then once again to Canyon for the Southwest Sprints' eighth and final appearance at the track for the Southwest Championships, on October 17.  The Howl-o-Ween Bash at Casa Grande delivers the final race of October on Halloween night, October 31.

The month of November is chock full of races co-sanctioned by CRA and the USAC AMSOIL Sprint Car National Championship in the final push for the championship in each of the three series.  The 25^th annual Budweiser Oval Nationals presented by All Coast Construction comes to Perris on Nov. 5-6-7 while the 53^rd annual Western World Championships close out the calendar on Nov. 13-14 at Arizona Speedway.
