OVAL NATIONALS PIT PARTY RETURNS FRIDAY
Perris, California (November 4, 2019)………Perris Auto Speedway and USAC are bringing back the pit party bigger and better than ever as part of the festivities for the 24th annual Budweiser Oval Nationals presented by All Coast Construction on November 7-8-9.
As soon as the night’s racing event concludes this Friday, November 8, all racers, crews and fans are welcome to come down, join in and cut loose for "Racin's a Beach," a beach-themed event that featuring live music from The Federales, serving up their style of 1980s and 90s Rock and Blues classic, plus corn hole and beer pong among other activities. The event is sponsored by John and Tammy McCarthy of FlowDynamics.
Rickie Gaunt, the 1999 Oval Nationals champion, will bring out his infamous Tiki Bar where The Oval Nationals shot, the NOS Bomb, will be sold.
More than 40 drivers are entered for the Oval Nationals, featuring USAC's AMSOIL National, CRA and Sands Chevrolet Southwest Sprint Car series. Among them are former race winners Bud Kaeding (2001-02-07), Damion Gardner (2009-11-16), Chris Windom (2010), plus two-time and defending winner Kevin Thomas, Jr. (2017-18).
The Oval Nationals begins with practice this Wednesday night, Nov. 6, at Perris at 5pm Pacific. Fans will be admitted free in the grandstands for the practice and the track will be serving $2 pizza, soda and beer.

Perris Speedway is conveniently located on the SoCal Fair and Event Center (home of October’s Southern California Fair), approximately one-hour east of Los Angeles and one-hour North of San Diego. To get to the track, take the 215 freeway, on the Ramona Expressway and go three miles east to the fairgrounds. The track address is 18700 Lake Perris Drive and the zip code is 92571.
