OVAL NATIONALS POINTS (After Night 2 of 3)
Perris, California (November 9, 2018)………Six drivers have locked themselves into Saturday night’s A-Main for the 23rd Annual Budweiser “Oval Nationals” presented by All Coast Construction at Perris Auto Speedway.
Though Tyler Courtney has finished in the runner-up spot to Justin Grant the past two nights, he leads the way with a five-point advantage over Grant based on points earned through qualifying and the preliminary events both nights.
Kevin Thomas, Jr., Chase Stockon, Damion Gardner and C.J. Leary are also locked in and will compete against Courtney and Grant in the six-lap “Super Six Dash” on Saturday night to determine the first three rows for the start of the $25,000-to-win feature event. All others seventh on back in the standings will compete in the full program with qualifying, heats and the semi-feature on tap.
On Saturday, the pits open at noon, front gates open at 3pm, autograph session from 3-4pm, drivers meeting at 4:30pm and cars on track at 5:15pm. All times Pacific.
