WESTERN SPEED2 DIRT MIDGETS CLOSE OUT 2018 SATURDAY AT SANTA MARIA
Tyler Slay will try to secure the 2018 USAC Western Speed2 Dirt championship this Saturday at Santa Maria (Calif.) Raceway, but it won’t be easy. Adam Lemke trails Slay by just 38 points entering the race.
Nolan Allison of Greensboro, N.C. won Sunday night’s 35-lap “Rodney Cook Classic” at Ace Speedway in Altamahaw, N.C. The race had been delayed one day after power outages plagued the facility after Hurricane Michael. Jake Garcia finished second ahead of Jessica Bean, Chris Lamb and Neal Allison.
