EARL'S POINTS UP FOR GRABS AT SPRINGFIELD & SANTA MARIA; 7 DRIVERS IN 5 SERIES BENEFIT FROM PERFORMANCES LAST WEEK
Shane Hmiel, Jesse Hockett, Brady Bacon, Chad Boat, Bobby East, Scott Pierovich and Tanner Swanson all topped Earl's Fast Qualifier honors last week in USAC's respective series, impacting five of the six series offering year-end Earl's bonuses.

Hmiel was the fastest K & N Silver Crown qualifier at Newton, Iowa Sunday, although Tracy Hines continues to lead that Earl's ranking. Hockett emerged as the top Earl's performer at Oskaloosa, Iowa Tuesday, while Hines maintained his lead in the National Sprint Earl's points. Bacon, Boat and East all paced Earl's qualifying at the National Midget races last week and East finds himself pacing that Earl's standings. Swanson continues to enjoy a big lead in the Western Sprint Earl's points after pacing qualifying Saturday at Tracy. Calif. Pierovich does the same in the Western Midgets after his FQ at Tracy Sunday.
