WINDOM WINS KOKOMO KLASH MIDGETS; MACEDO TAKES INDIANA MIDGET TITLE

Kokomo, IN........Chris Windom of Canton, Ill. led all 25 laps to win Friday night's "Kokomo Klash X" USAC Indiana Midget feature at the Kokomo Speedway. Driving the Baldwin Brothers Racing Fox Paving Spike/Gaerte, he was followed at the checkered flag by Dave Darland, Tanner Thorson, Gage Walker and Holly Shelton. Carson Macedo of Lemoore, Calif. captured the USAC Indiana Midget Championship with his eighth-place finish. Thorson finished second in the final standings ahead of third-ranking Ryan Robinson.
