Bobby East of Brownsburg, Ind. led all but four laps to win Thursday night's 100-mile"Copper World Classic" presented by Fast Signs at Phoenix International Raceway. The victory in the K & N USAC Silver Crown race was worth $20,500 to his Klatt Enterprises team as he won the pole in his Ford Racing/Club Sport Beast/Ford and fought off an early challenge from Ryan Newman.
