2015 Battle at the Brickyard, A Once in a Lifetime Experience!

2015 USAC .25 MIDGET BATTLE AT THE BRICKYARD

“A ONCE IN A LIFETIME EXPERIENCE!”

Don’t miss the excitement of this year’s USAC Honda .25 Midget Battle at the Brickyard taking place July 9th-12th, of 2015. The Indianapolis Motor Speedway is going to provide your son or daughter a once in a lifetime opportunity of taking a lap around the world’s greatest race course in his or her quarter midget. Reduced entry fees, the second annual USAC Honda .25 Midget race of champions, and an improved welcome party on the streets of downtown Speedway, IN highlight some the great enhancements for this tremendous family experience. Entry fees have dropped from $175 for the first car entered per driver in 2014 to $99 in 2015 (A savings of $76 off each child’s first car registered for the event.) Additional entries per driver have dropped from $75 in 2014 to $49 in 2015. Ongoing discussions are still in the works for possible overnight camping at IMS. A decision on this should be announced shortly.

The week will kick off with parking and registration taking place on Thursday, July 9th followed by a street party with live music and entertainment that evening. Several USAC drivers will be on hand for the party that also acts as the kickoff for USAC’s Indiana Sprint Week! Daredevil Brewery and AJ Foyt’s new winery will also be on site to entertain adults and parents during the evening’s festivities.

Friday morning will serve as practice for the 7th annual Battle at the Brickyard. After a break for lunch, heat races will take place in the afternoon. Once action is complete Friday afternoon, families will have the opportunity to watch the opening round of Indiana Sprint week just about an hour north of Indianapolis in Gas City, IN.

Saturday morning will begin with lower mains, as the final cars look to get locked into Sunday’s A main events. Following the lower mains on Saturday, drivers eligible to participate in the “Race of Champions” will run their heat races. After the heat races and a short break we will crown the 2nd annual “Race of Champions” A main event winner!

Sunday will play host to the A main events and the award ceremony. More details on the race of champions, and the status of overnight parking will be posted in the coming weeks. Please stay tuned to usacracing.com for this year’s Battle at the Brickyard pre-registration entry.
