RAINS INTERRUPT “TONY BETTENHAUSEN 100”

Springfield, IL……..Rains forced postponement of Saturday’s “Tony Bettenhausen 100” USAC Silver Crown race at the Illinois State Fairgrounds as the cars were pushed off for the main event. Tracy Hines won the pole during qualifying. Track Enterprises and USAC officials are discussing a possible rescheduled date and that will be announced when firm.
