CANYON SPEEDWAY PARK’S SOUTHWEST “SALUTE TO INDY” THIS WEEKEND

Four drivers are separated by just 33 points entering this weekend’s “Salute to Indy” USAC Southwest Sprint races Canyon Speedway Park in Peoria, Ariz. Races are slated both Saturday and Sunday night at the 3/8-mile dirt oval.

Charles Davis Jr. sits five points ahead of Josh Pelkey, with Shon Deskins 18 behind the lead and R.J. Johnson 33 back.

Five series points races have been held so far this year and all five were won by the four point leaders. Davis has two wins. While Pelkey, Deskins and Johnson have one each.
