DMA MIDGETS RETURN TO BRADFORD SEPT. 21;

PIERSON NOTCHES 5TH DMA WIN AT BEAR RIDGE

Two races remain in the 2013 USAC DMA Midget calendar, September 21 and 28 at Bear Ridge Speedway in Bradford, Vt. Only 49 points separate the top five drivers in the standings and the top two are just two points apart!

Inaugural series champion Joe Krawiec has assumed the lead, only two points ahead of defending series titlist Kevin Chaffee. Scott Viets, Adam Pierson and Josh Sunn also are within shot of the leaders.

Pierson continued his mastery of his home town track Saturday. He passed Krawiec on lap 20 and led the last six laps to beat Krawiec, Ray Miller, Viets and Jamie Spalding. The victory was Pierson’s fifth this year at Bear Ridge.
