GOING FOR “6” AT BEAR RIDGE SATURDAY?

There have been five different winners in five 2103 races so far in the DMA Midgets at Bear Ridge Speedway in Bradford, Vt. Amazingly enough, the top-three drivers in the standings are NOT among them!

The all-time record for different winners at the start of a USAC racing season is 11, established by drivers in the 1994 Modified and 2007 USAC/CRA Sprint series.

Point leader Kevin Chaffee has a pair of seconds, a third, fourth and fifth so far, while Joe Krawiec, the runner-up, has a second, third, fourth and two sevenths. Third-ranking Scott Viets has a second, third, seventh and two ninths.
