DMA MIDGETS RESUME JUNE 29 AT BRADFORD;

PIERSON SCORES HOMETOWN UPSET

Former USAC DMA driving champions Kevin Chaffee and Joe Krawiec lead the series standings, separated by just two points, entering a June 29 race at Bear Ridge Speedway in Bradford, Vt. The two finished second and third in the most recent race, won last Saturday by Adam Pierson.

Pierson, of Bradford, earned his initial series victory Saturday, leading the final 16 laps of the 25-lap race to beat Chaffee, Krawiec, Ray Miller and Scott Holcomb. Jeff Horn led the first two laps and Dean Christenson led the next seven before yielding to Pierson.

Pierson became the third different first-time series winner in four races so far this year!
