LADIES MAKE HOOSIER HUNDRED HISTORY

Miranda Throckmorton and Taylor Ferns became the first two ladies ever to start the prestigious Hoosier Hundred TRAXXAS USAC Silver Crown race May 24 at the Indiana State Fairgrounds in Indianapolis.

Miranda became the first ever to finish the race, taking ninth place in the Eddie Sachs Racing entry. Sarah Fisher became the first female to compete in the historic event in 1998 and Eric Crocker competed in 2003 but neither started the 100-lap race.
