HOLCOMB SWEEPS TO BEAR RIDGE VICTORY

Inaugural USAC DMA Midget Champion Joe Krawiec sits atop the new series standings after he finished second in last Saturday’s 30-lap feature at Bear Ridge Speedway in Bradford, Vt.

Krawiec is actually tied with Scott Viets entering the June 1 resumption of the series at the Vermont oval.

Scott Holcomb of North Granby, Conn. won Saturday night’s 25-lap feature at Bear Ridge. He passed Jeff Horn on lap four and led the rest of the way to beat Krawiec, Adam Pierson, Kevin Chaffee and Horn to the checkered flag.
