KOKOMO .25 MIDGET CLUB’s BENEVOLENCE
MAKES WALT DISNEY WORLD MOPAR SPEEDZONE VISIT POSSIBLE
Through the benevolence of the Kokomo Quarter Midget Club’s many USAC families and sponsors, one family of USAC Mopar .25 Midget racers will be able to experience the trip of a lifetime and attend the Mopar Speedzone at Walt Disney World in June.
The Jameson family of Kokomo, Ind., participants in USAC’s inaugural season of .25 Midget racing in 2009, are the beneficiaries and will attend the June 16-19 activities at the ESPN Wide World of Sports complex in Orland, Fla., adjacent to the Magic Kingdom.
In 2009, Sura Jameson competed in USAC’s .25 Senior Honda class, while brothers Garrett and Bradley competed in Junior and Heavy Honda respectively.
“This is an amazing display of the “family” atmosphere we experience daily in our Mopar .25 Midget operations,” says USAC Developmental Series Director James Spink. “It’s heart-warming to see this type of benevolence and to witness these dreams coming true for the family, who have recently dealt with health issues affecting their mother. We are excited for them and hope to make their experience a truly memorable one. We applaud the members of the Kokomo Quarter Midget Club for this initiative and for their fund-raising efforts to make this a reality.”
The following sponsors and donors assisted this effort: Baker Racing Engines, Coca-Cola, Frito-Lay, Red Dot Trophy Shop, Briggs and Stratton, Performance Racing Products, Jegs, Wesco Racing Products, Zero-Error, Pyrotect, Golden Corral, Half Moon Brewery and Grill, Speedway Gas Station, Kokomo Speedway, Miami County Speedway, Josh Spencer, Shane Cottle/ Edison Racing, Proformance Vinyl, Matco Tools, Snap-On Tools, Hoosier Tire, Arby's, ASA Electronics, Colors by Barr, Powell Racing, USAC, Loose Moose Polaris, Nervo Chassis, Quality Inn, Andy Hillenburg, Home City Ice, Dermpath Labs, Fazoli's and Culver's.
