Kokomo, Indiana (July 27, 2024)………Long known for his prowess in advancing through the field in any situation, Shane Cottle has earned the USAC Indiana Sprint Week Passing Master championship in each of the past two seasons in 2022 and 2023.
Now the Kansas, Ill. driver has risen to the top once again following his 23rd to 8th performance during Saturday night’s feature event at Kokomo (Ind.) Speedway.
Throughout the first two ISW events on Friday at Lincoln Park Speedway and on Saturday at Kokomo, Cottle has advanced a total of 19 positions and will carry the lead into Sunday night’s third round at Lawrenceburg Speedway.
Cottle leads a group that features a four-way tie for second in the ISW Passing Master standings.
