LEARY PASSES 81 TO LEAD USAC PROSOURCE PASSING POINTS INTO JUNE

By: Richie Murray – USAC Media

Speedway, Indiana (June 3, 2024)………Thus far, no driver has passed more cars in USAC national competition throughout 2024 than C.J. Leary.

The Greenfield, Ind. native has advanced a combined total of 81 positions between his efforts with the USAC AMSOIL Sprint Car National Championship and USAC Silver Crown National Championship.  That performance has Leary atop the season long ProSource Passing Master standings.

In his past two USAC Silver Crown starts alone, Leary advanced 20th to 2nd at the Belleville (Kan.) High Banks and from 22nd to 3rd at Indiana’s Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway Park.

Just behind Leary in the standings are Robert Ballou (74), Logan Seavey (69), Daison Pursley (67) and Joey Amantea (54).

ProSource, of Grand Saline, Texas, has posted a $2,500 year-end reward to the USAC nationally licensed driver who passes the most total cars during feature events throughout USAC’s 2024 national season.

The bonus payday awaits the driver who advances the most positions combined between USAC’s Silver Crown, AMSOIL National Sprint Car and NOS Energy Drink National Midget divisions.

The 2024 season marks the fifth year of ProSource’s USAC National Passing Master championship.  Chris Windom captured the inaugural edition in 2020.  Justin Grant claimed the honor in both 2021 and 2022 while Daison Pursley took the title in 2023.
