LARSON, TMEZ & SEAVEY TIED FOR BC39 PASSING MASTER LEAD

Speedway, Indiana (August 19, 2021)………Kyle Larson, Thomas Meseraull and Logan Seavey are knotted up in a three-way tie atop the ProSource Passing Master standings for the USAC Driven2SaveLives BC39 Powered By NOS Energy Drink at The Dirt Track at Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
At the conclusion of the BC39 on Thursday night, August 19, the driver who advanced the most combined total positions from their starting spots in all heats, qualifiers and main events will receive $500 as the ProSource Passing Master. Provisional starters are ineligible to receive feature points toward the passing master total.
The three native Californians each advanced six positions during their heat races on Wednesday night, which put them into the lead heading into Thursday night’s 2021 BC39 finale.
Several position advancements were made during Wednesday night’s Stoops Pursuit race, including Larson’s Plus-15 from 16th to 1st. However, those points will not count toward BC39 Passing Master point total.
The event on the quarter-mile dirt oval inside Turn 3 at IMS will continue to honor late USAC champion and three-time Indianapolis 500 starter Bryan Clauson and increase awareness of and participation in the Indiana Donor Network and Driven2SaveLives.
On Thursday, August 19, the drivers meeting will take place at the USAC trailer at 3pm Eastern. Engine heat will begin at 4pm with hot laps hitting the track at 5pm and qualifying races beginning at 6pm.
Opening ceremonies will follow, then the program will immediately roll into the main feature events, starting with multiple 12-lap D-Mains, the 15-lap C-Main, the 20-lap semi-feature and the 39-lap main event.
