BULLET IMPRESSIONS BOOSTS USAC/CRA CALIFORNIA SPRINT WEEK
By Lance Jennings
JUNE 23, 2018... Officials with the AMSOIL USAC/CRA Sprint Car Series have announced that Bullet Impressions will sponsor the 2018 California Sprint Week. For the fifth consecutive year, the popular mini-series will feature the traditional (non-wing) 410 sprints at six races in eight nights at five different race tracks.
Thanks to Bullet Impressions – onefasttee.com, the winner of the “California Sprint Week” point standings will earn $500, second will take home $300, and third will make $200. Last season, forty-nine drivers took the green flag and “The Demon” Damion Gardner emerged with his third mini-series crown in four years. This year, each “Sprint Week” main event will pay a minimum of $3,000-to-win and $400-to-start.
Based in Hanford, California, Bullet Impressions – onefasttee.com specializes in custom screen printing, embroidery, and specialty advertisements. While their client list includes drivers and racetracks from Central and Northern California, they are also known for their custom Slide Job City, Race Chic, One Fast Tee, and WFO Apparel lines of clothing. For more information, visit their website at onefasttee.com or call 559.585.0900.
Starting Saturday, September 1st, the “California Sprint Week” will open at the historic Calistoga Speedway with the “11th Annual Louie Vermeil Classic.” The special two-night event at the Napa County Fairgrounds will also feature the USAC Western States Midgets. The following night, the mini-series moves to the Petaluma Speedway for a rare Monday night sprint car race at the Sonoma-Marin Fairgrounds.
On Thursday, September 6th, the “California Sprint Week” resumes at Chico’s Silver Dollar Speedway as part of the “65th Gold Cup Race of Champions.” The traditional 410s will invade Watsonville’s Ocean Speedway on Friday before closing their mini-series at Hanford’s Keller Auto Speedway at Kings Fairgrounds on Saturday, September 8th.
