THREE RACES REMAIN IN INDIANA SPRINT WEEK TITLE CHASE

C.J. Leary retains the Indiana Sprint Week presented by Camping World point lead after Wednesday night’s rainout at the Terre Haute Action Track.

Though no racing was completed, once the first car was pushed off for practice, each driver who signed in to compete in the event received 10 appearance points.

One and a half hot lap sessions were completed before the rains came and washed away the evening’s events.

Meseraull remains second, 13 points behind Leary.  Third-place Brady Bacon was not in attendance at Terre Haute, thus did not receive any points, but did not drop a spot.  Although, his absence did allow Robert Ballou (-29), Kevin Thomas, Jr. (-36) and Chris Windom (-37) to close the gap.

Indiana Sprint Week continues Thursday night at Lincoln Park Speedway in Putnamville.  Pits open at 3pm and grandstands open at 4:30pm. The drivers meeting is set for 5:15pm with cars schedule to hit the track at 6pm. (Times are subject to change).

Following Putnamville, the USAC AMSOIL Sprint Car National Championship schedule carries on Friday, July 14 at Bloomington Speedway and the ISW finale Saturday, July 15 at Tri-State Speedway in Haubstadt.
