MESERAULL LEADS ISW STANDINGS AFTER OPENING ROUND VICTORY
Thomas Meseraull takes the early point lead of Indiana Sprint Week presented by Camping World as the series heads to round two of the 30th annual edition of the event Sunday at Lawrenceburg Speedway.
The San Jose, California native shot to the top of the standings by virtue of Saturday night’s win at Kokomo Speedway, passing Carson Short on the ninth lap to take his sixth career USAC AMSOIL National Sprint Car triumph.
Short is second in the standings, four points out. Third-place finisher Brady Bacon and fifth-place finisher Kyle Cummins are knotted up for third, 11 out of the lead.
Pits open for Sunday’s Lawrenceburg race at 3pm with grandstands opening at 5pm. The drivers meeting is set for 5:15pm and cars are scheduled to hit the track at 6pm (Times are subject to change).
