DMA MIDGETS EYE SEPTEMBER 6 AT BEAR RIDGE;

PIERSON NOW AT #7 FOR 2014

The next USAC DMA Midget race at Bear Ridge Speedway in Bradford, Conn. is September 6 and if past performance is any indication, series point leader Adam Pierson will be tough to beat.

Pierson, of Bradford, has been sensational so far in the nine races held in the 2014 series, winning seven and posting second-place finishes in the other two!

His seventh victory came Saturday night as he passed Joe Krawiec on lap 12 and led the last 14 laps to win the 25-lap race over Jeff Champagne, Mike Chaffee, Krawiec and Josh Sunn. Vince Lucca led the first three laps.

Pierson now enjoys a 151-point lead in the standings over Sunn, but a September 20 “double-points” race looms as the series nears conclusion.
