AUGUST 23 RACE NEXT FOR DMA MIDGETS;

LAST-LAP VICTORY FOR POINT LEADER PIERSON!

USAC DMA Midget point leader Adam Pierson is now six-for-eight this season after his latest victory, a last-lap thriller at Bear Ridge Speedway in Bradford, Vt. He will take a comfortable 140-point over runner-up Josh Sunn into the next series race, August 23.

Pierson waited until the final lap to take the lead from Jeff Champagne and he wound up in victory lane Saturday night! Pierson’s sixth victory of the season came after Champagne led the first 24 laps, and he finished second ahead of Dean Christensen, Scott Viets and Joe Krawiec.

Sunn, who is still seeking his first series win this year, finished sixth in Saturday night’s race.
