Honda USAC .25 Midget Lone Star Grand Prix will run with a modified .25 midget race format. The following four classes will be running: Red Rookie, Jr. Honda, Sr. Honda, and Light 160.

FRIDAY, Oct 4

Open Practice until 5pm.

5pm Controlled practice. 

Sign ins will be open Friday evening and Saturday morning.   

SATURDAY, Oct 5

Sign ins will be open in the morning. 
8:45 a.m.            Mandatory Driver’s/Handler’s Meeting (Please bring RaceCeivers with you)

9:00 a.m.            Practice and A-Mains based on car cound (example 20 Sr. Hondas = 2 Sr. Honda A Mains)

SUNDAY, Oct 6

2 FREE tickets to the Indycar Shell and Penzoil Grand Prix of Houston presented by the Greater Houston Honda Dealers for each .25 Midget Driver that pre-registers for the Lone Star Grand Prix in San Antonio. 

Drivers will also take part in opening ceremonies for the IndyCar race. 

If a family would like to purchase any additonal tickets for the event they can do so by visiting ticketmaster.com. Discounts on tickets purchased through ticketmaster are available until September 15th, by entering the promo code: Coffee and Cars when making your purchase. 

Everyone participating in this unique event must pre-register no later than Wednesday, October 2nd at midnight to be eligible. 

The event will be open to both USAC and Non USAC members alike. 

The southwest .25 Midget clubs will have a promotional display set up in the Fiesta Family Fun zone at Reliant Park from Thursday through Sunday of the IndyCar event. 

Please note parking will be $15 at the track on Sunday. 

Meeting times and arangements for opening ceremonies of the IndyCar race on Sunday will be emailed to participants in the coming weeks.
