DMA MIDGETS RESUME AUGUST 24;

CHAMPAGNE 6TH DIFFERENT BEAR RIDGE WINNER

Joe Krawiec, USAC’s inaugural DMA Midget Champion in 2011, has returned to the top of the standings and will take a five-point lead over defending champion Kevin Chaffee into the August 24 race at Bear Ridge Speedway in Bradford, Vt.

Krawiec finished fourth and Chaffee sixth in last Saturday’s feature at Bear Ridge.

Jeff Champagne of Westfield, Mass. became the sixth different winner in USAC DMA Midget competition this year, leading all 25 laps of Saturday night’s feature at Bear Ridge Speedway. Adam Pierson was second ahead of Scott Holcomb, Krawiec and Josh Sunn.
