2 MICHIGAN DRIVERS “DOUBLE UP” AT “LITTLE HOOSIER 100”
The August 19-21 “Back to School Bash” at “Little Kalamazoo” in Michigan is next up for the 2k11 USAC Mopar .25 Midget “Generation Next” Tour following a successful “Little Hoosier 100” in Lakeville, Ind. last week.
Two Michigan pilots captured the headlines at Newton Park, winning a pair of class titles each in the “Little Hoosier 100” action.
Carson Hocevar of Portage, Mich., was the victory in Junior Animal and Junior Stock classes, while Cason Konzer of Holly, Mich., won the Senior Animal and Heavy World Formula championships.
Other “Little Hoosier 100” stars were Zeb Wise of Angola, Ind. (Junior Honda), Jared Irvan of Midland, N.C. (Senior Honda), Zach Caldwell of Madison, AL (Heavy Honda), Aaron Leffel of Springfield, OH (Unrestricted Animal), Cameron Morga of Albuquerque, N.M. (Mod), Ryan Krachun of Neshanic, N.J. (B), Harrison Burton of Huntersville, N.C. (Light 160), Mark Miller of Noblesville, IN (Heavy 160), Gage Walker of Fairland, IN (Light World Formula), J.J. Haley of Winamac, IN (Light AA) and Richie Streicher of Bluffton, Ohio (Heavy AA). Rookie titles went to Reese Weil and Jagger Parker.
