CONTINUES THIS WEEKEND AT LAS VEGAS MOTOR SPEEDWAY

The Southern Nevada Quarter Midget Championship continues this weekend at Las Vegas Motor Speedway on the track situated just off Las Vegas Boulevard adjacent to the sprawling complex’s “Bullring.”


Four of the 13 races in the 2012 calendar have been contested and points continue to compile toward a championship to be crowned in December. The 13-race schedule could possibly grow due to additional date additions as the season progresses.


Races remaining on the 2012 calendar at present are during May, June (2), August, September, October (2) and on December 9.


“We look forward to working with the southern Nevada group as they carry on the strong tradition of Mopar .25 Midget racing on the unique Vegas oval,” says USAC’s James Spink. “Las Vegas has a great racing tradition and has always been a destination for our teams and fans. This championship will surely be hotly contested as the summer months dawn.”
