COTTLE UPS USAC ISW PASSING MASTER POINT LEAD AT LAWRENCEBURG

Lawrenceburg, Indiana (July 30, 2024)………Shane Cottle, the two-time and defending USAC Indiana Sprint Week Passing Master champion, is well on his way to capturing a third-straight crown in 2024.
Cottle (Kansas, Ill.) passed 17 more cars during Tuesday night’s USAC AMSOIL Sprint Car National Championship event at Lawrenceburg, nearly doubling his output which now stands at 36 passes made entering round four of ISW at Circle City Raceway on Wednesday night, July 31.
Cottle stands ahead of the pack by 10 positions with Logan Seavey (-10) second, Ricky Lewis (-11) third and Anton Hernandez (-14) fourth while Chance Crum and Kyle Cummins, both of whom are tied for fifth, 16 points back.
ProSource is rewarding the driver who advances the most total positions throughout NOS Energy Drink USAC Indiana Midget Week Presented By Honest Abe Roofing with a $500 bonus. The Passing Master points encompass all heat races, C-mains, semi-feature and feature events. Stevie Sussex (Tempe, Ariz.) was the champion in 2021 while Cottle captured the crown in both 2022 and 2023.
Four events remain on the 2024 Indiana Sprint Week calendar at Circle City Raceway on Wednesday, July 31 followed by dates at the Terre Haute Action Track on Thursday, August 1; Bloomington Speedway on Friday, August 2; and the finale at Tri-State Speedway on Saturday, August 3.
