MOLES INCREASES USAC EASTERN STORM LEAD ENTERING PORT ROYAL

Port Royal, Pennsylvania (June 15, 2024)………Mitchel Moles increased his USAC Eastern Storm point lead from three to six following consecutive runner-up finishes on Thursday at Big Diamond and Friday at Williams Grove.

In doing so, Moles retains his edge over 2014 Eastern Storm champion Brady Bacon entering the penultimate round of the six-race series on Saturday, June 15, at Pennsylvania’s Port Royal Speedway.

USAC Eastern Storm tour finishes up on Sunday, June 16, at Action Track USA in Kutztown, Pa.

Opening night Eastern Storm winner Briggs Danner (Allentown, Pa.) occupies third in the order (-22), while two-time Eastern Storm titlist Robert Ballou (Rocklin, Calif.) stands fourth (-22).  The 2019 champ, C.J. Leary (Greenfield, Ind.), holds the fifth spot (-25).

Eastern Storm feature events this week have been won by Briggs Danner (Grandview Speedway), Brady Bacon (Bridgeport Motorsports Park), Logan Seavey (Big Diamond Speedway) and Kevin Thomas Jr. (Williams Grove Speedway).

On Saturday, June 15, at Port Royal Speedway, pit gates open at 4pm Eastern and front gates at 5pm with the drivers meeting set for 5:15 and hot laps at 6pm.
