PROSOURCE INDIANA SPRINT WEEK PASSING MASTER RACE TIGHTENS ON THE ROAD TO TERRE HAUTE

Terre Haute, Indiana (July 28, 2021)………Stevie Sussex has been at the top of the ProSource Passing Master standings since day one of the 34th annual NOS Energy Drink Indiana Sprint Week by AMSOIL, totaling 29 passes throughout the first three nights as the series heads into round four Wednesday night, July 28, at the Terre Haute Action Track.
At the conclusion of Indiana Sprint Week, the driver who advances the most total positions from their starting spots in all prelim and feature events throughout the entirety of ISW will receive $500 as the ProSource Passing Master. Provisional starters each night are ineligible to receive feature points toward the passing master total.
The Mesa, Ariz. native, however, now has company near the top with both Shane Cottle and Chase Stockon within four points with four ISW races remaining this week. Cottle (Kansas, Ill.) has advanced a total of 27 positions during the first three races while Stockon has 25.
Meanwhile, Justin Grant (Ione, Calif.) and Kyle Cummins (Princeton, Ind.) each remain within earshot, each passing 20 cars thus far throughout Indiana Sprint Week.
Robert Ballou (Rocklin, Calif.) won the inaugural Indiana Sprint Week ProSource Passing Master award in 2020.
Terre Haute’s NOS Energy Drink Indiana Sprint Week by AMSOIL event features the USAC AMSOIL Sprint Car National Championship vying for the $6,000 winner’s share. Modifieds are also on the event card.
Wednesday’s Don Smith Classic / NOS Energy Drink Indiana Sprint Week features the USAC AMSOIL Sprint Car National Championship and Modifieds. Pits open at 3pm EDT, grandstands at 4pm, drivers meeting at 6pm and hot laps at 6:30pm with qualifying & racing to follow.
General admission grandstand tickets are $30. Infield admission is $15. Kids 11 and under are free when accompanied by a parent. Pit passes are $30 for members and $35 for non-members.
