Haubstadt, Indiana (June 6, 2021)………Franklin, Indiana’s Emerson Axsom retains the lead of the ProSource Indiana Midget Week Passing Master standings, with a number of others closing in coming into tonight’s round four of the 17th annual mini-series for the USAC NOS Energy Drink National Midgets.

ProSource has announced a $500 Passing Master bonus going to the USAC NOS Energy Drink National Midget driver who advances the most total positions from his or her feature starting spot throughout the entirety of Indiana Midget Week June 3-12.

Passing Master points are accumulated via heat races, last chance races and feature events each night of IMW.  Provisional starters each night, however, are ineligible to receive points for the positions advanced during the feature.

Among those just within earshot of Axsom’s 24 total passes throughout the first three events of Indiana Midget Week are Thursday’s IMW opener winner at Paragon, Thomas Meseraull (San Jose, Calif.) at 20.  Brian Carber (Lewisberry, Pa.) made the biggest jump Saturday at Lawrenceburg, adding 15 to his total to get to 16, just eight behind Axsom.

Carber advanced on position in his heat race, two more in the semi-feature, the 12 additional in the feature as he charged through the pack from 22nd to a 10th place finish, which also earned him Irvin King / KSE Racing Products Hard Charger honors for the night.

New Zealand’s Hayden Williams had advanced 15 while both Cannon McIntosh (Bixby, Okla.) and Tanner Thorson (Minden, Nev.) are both at 14.
