BALLOU BAGS CORN BELT NATS PASSING MASTER TITLE
Knoxville, Iowa (July 11, 2020)………Robert Ballou’s advancement from his 19th starting spot to 8th during Saturday night’s USAC AMSOIL National Sprint Car feature at Knoxville Raceway earned him the Brandt Corn Belt Nationals ProSource Passing Master title for the weekend.
Ballou (Rocklin, Calif.) advanced a total of 11 positions throughout the weekend, which was tied with Logan Seavey who advanced from 20th to 9th on Friday night at Knoxville. Because Ballou had a better highest finishing position between the two, the tiebreaker went to him.
Longtime USAC supporter ProSource added the $500 Passing Master bonus award to the 2nd annual Corn Belt Nationals festivities, honoring the driver who advanced the most total positions from his feature starting spot throughout both nights of this past weekend’s event.
