CORN BELT NATIONALS POINT STANDINGS

Knoxville, Iowa (July 6, 2019)………Brady Bacon (Broken Arrow, Okla.) leads the BRANDT Professional Agriculture “Corn Belt Nationals” standings heading into Saturday night’s finale.  The two-time USAC AMSOIL National Sprint Car champion captured the victory at Knoxville Friday and is among the favorites to claim Saturday night’s $20,000 winners share.

Saturday night’s format begins with Fatheadz Eyewear Qualifying (2 cars, 2 Laps), with the fastest qualifier receiving 100 points.  Through the balance of the field, each position will have a difference of two points (1-100, 2-98, 3-96, and so on).

Each of the four qualifying races are 10 laps with the top-six inverted.  Each position in each qualifier will have a difference of three points with the winner getting 50 (1-50, 2-47, 3-44).

At that point, the total combined points from Friday and Saturday will be added up to determine Saturday night’s A, B and C Main starting lineups.

Drivers 37th or lower in the standings will determine the 12-lap C Main lineup.  The top-six finishers from the C Main will transfer to the B.

Drivers 19th through 36th (next 18) plus the six transfers from the C Main will determine the 16-lap B Main lineup.  The top-six finishers from the B Main will transfer to the A.

Drivers 1st through 18th in points will be locked into the A Main with the top-six transfers from the B Main making up the last three rows of the 30-lap A-Main finale.
