WEDNESDAY’S CELEBRATION OF LIFE FOR BRYAN CLAUSON BEGINS 4 NIGHTS OF USAC SPRINTS AT KOKOMO
The first of four nights of USAC AMSOIL Sprint Car racing at Kokomo (Ind.) Speedway begins this Wednesday, Aug. 24 as the racing family joins together to honor one of auto racing’s greatest champions, the late Bryan Clauson.
Clauson, the seven-time USAC National champion and inaugural “Sprint Car Smackdown” winner at Kokomo in 2012, will be honored with a celebration of life that begins at 1pm eastern Wednesday at Kokomo Speedway leading up to the night’s on track action that kicks off with hot laps at 6:30pm. Spectator gates open at 11:00am while the pit gate opens at 4:30pm. Racing will begin following hot laps.
General admission for Wednesday night’s event is FREE! Pit passes are $30. However, all participating drivers on Wednesday night will receive a free pit pass thanks to Allstar Performance. Furthermore, all drivers will be provided five concession vouchers courtesy of Diversified Machine, Inc. (DMI).
The feature winner of Wednesday night’s event will earn a coveted custom-built trophy from Cold Hard Art as well as a $3000 top prize for collecting the win in the USAC AMSOIL Sprint Car non-points “Special Event.”

USAC AMSOIL National Sprint Car racing at Kokomo continues this Thursday, Friday and Saturday Aug. 25-27 with three straight full, action-packed events for “Sprint Car Smackdown V.”
