GARDNER “SOARES” TO PETALUMA VICTORY
Petaluma, CA……..Honda USAC Western Midget Dirt point leader Ronnie Gardner of Norco, Calif. won Saturday night’s 101-lap “John Soares Classic” at Petaluma Speedway. Taking the lead from Greg Bragg on lap 74, he led the final 28 laps in his Baldozier Racing/Esslinger Engineering Stewart/Esslinger for his fourth win in his last five outings and ninth win this season! Shane Golobic finished second ahead of Bragg, Shannon McQueen and Taylor Simas. The race was co-sanctioned by BCRA.
