WEATHER FORCES ELDORA CANCELLATION

Rossburg, OH........Saturday night's AMSOIL USAC National Sprint race at Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio has been cancelled due to frigid temperatures and a wintry mix of precipitation. The National Weather Service has also issued freeze warnings throughout Darke and Mercer Counties. The bitter cold temperatures this morning are hampering the track crew's diligent efforts to rework the high-banked .500-mile clay oval into optimal condition and have forced Eldora and USAC officials to cancel tonight's event featuring the AMSOIL USAC National Sprint Car Series, UMP DIRTcar Modifieds and Eldora Stocks. It will not be rescheduled. The AMSOIL USAC National Sprint cars now prepare for next Friday and Saturday's races at Gas City and Putnamville, Ind. respectively.
