On January 9, 2009, USAC announced that Hoosier Racing Tire will become the spec tire for their newly developed .25 Midget series. The spec tire will be mandated on the RF and RR tire positions for the 2009 season. USAC currently has 8 clubs signed up. They are:

USAC has selected two right side compounds for dirt and two right side compounds for asphalt. The specifications for these tires are listed below.
