CONTINUE USAC MOPAR .25 MIDGET EXPANSION

 


Two New York quarter midget clubs are the latest to join USAC’s growing family of Mopar .25 Midget clubs which will compete in 2012.


 


The Syracuse Quarter Midget Club, headquartered at the famed New York State Fairgrounds in Syracuse, and the Oswego County Quarter Midget Club, which competes on a track located near the Oswego County Airport in Volney, N.Y., are the latest to become affiliated with the USAC Mopar .25 Midget family.


 


The Syracuse club has been in operation for more than 30 years and known as the “Beast of the East” it conducts events from April through October, culminating with a “Super Dirt Week” program. Similarly, the Oswego County Club, which debuted in 1997, races from April through October and joins the Syracuse club for its annual “Super Dirt Week” activities.


 


“I would like to take this opportunity to say that the Syracuse Quarter Midget Club is extremely excited about joining the USAC organization for the 2012 racing season,” says John Trenca, President of SYRQM. “I. myself, raced with the USAC organization with our family-owned Silver Crown Team, and know first hand that USAC is the premier sanctioning body in North America. The resources, professionalism and endless opportunities of the organization are what led our club to make this switch. We look forward to working with USAC this coming racing season and many seasons to come.”
