TIMMS TAKES FRIDAY'S USAC WEST COAST SPRINT DASH AT VENTURA
Ventura, California (November 24, 2023)………Ryan Timms raced to the lead on lap six past Blake Bower to capture Friday night’s USAC West Coast Sprint Car Extreme Mufflers dash at California’s Ventura Raceway.
Timms (Oklahoma City, Okla.) led the final 10 laps of the 15-lap event at the 1/5-mile dirt oval in the family-owned No. 5T.
Last year, Timms won the Saturday night feature as part of the Turkey Night Grand Prix weekend and enters this Saturday’s event as the defending winner.
On Saturday, the pits open at 11am Pacific with the drivers meeting at 2:45pm, the grandstands opening at 3pm and cars on track at 3:30pm. All tickets that are not reserved are $35. Reserved seats are $45 for ages 13 and older and $25 for ages 12 and under. Pit passes are $40 for members and $50 for non-members on Saturday.
