SWANSON, MOLES, STOCKON & McINTOSH SHARE USAC DIRT DRAFT HOT LAP TITLE
Speedway, Indiana (November 29, 2022)………Kody Swanson, Mitchel Moles, Chase Stockon and Cannon McIntosh share honors as the fastest drivers in Dirt Draft Hot Laps throughout the 2022 USAC national season.
Swanson (Kingsburg, Calif.) set the top speed in practice on six occasions throughout the 11-race USAC Silver Crown campaign. The now seven-time series champion was the tops in practice at Indiana’s Winchester Speedway and Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway Park, plus Illinois’ World Wide Technology Raceway and Du Quoin State Fairgrounds as well at Ohio’s Toledo Speedway and Eldora Speedway, which he did in both practice sessions on both days.
In 41 opportunities, series Rookie Mitchel Moles (Raisin City, Calif.) and series veteran Chase Stockon (Fort Branch, Ind.) shared top honors with five fastest hot laps during the USAC AMSOIL Sprint Car National Championship season.
Moles was the fastest to start the night at Indiana’s Terre Haute Action Track, Lawrenceburg Speedway and Kokomo Speedway twice and also added another at South Dakota’s Huset’s Speedway.
Stockon took the reins in hot laps at Pennsylvania’ Grandview Speedway in addition to a quad of Indiana venues at Circle City Raceway, Lincoln Park Speedway, Tri-State Speedway and Kokomo Speedway.
For McIntosh (Bixby, Okla.) his top hot lap times were turned in four different states, starting at Florida’s Bubba Raceway Park, South Dakota’s Huset’s Speedway, Indiana’s The Dirt Track at Indianapolis Motor Speedway and California’s Placerville Speedway.
