GRANT HOLDS 52-POINT ISW LEAD ENTERING FRIDAY AT BLOOMINGTON

Bloomington, Indiana (July 29, 2022)………Justin Grant boosted his point lead from 43 to 52 with two races remaining as he tries to hunt down his first USAC NOS Energy Drink Indiana Sprint Week title entering Friday night’s event at Bloomington Speedway on July 29.
Grant (Ione, Calif.) has won once, finished second twice and grabbed a fifth in his most recent run Thursday night at Lincoln Park Speedway.
With two ISW events remaining in the 35th annual edition of the series, Grant leads over Greenfield, Indiana’s C.J. Leary and Broken Arrow, Oklahoma’s Brady Bacon who both stand 52 points behind Grant. Fort Branch, Indiana’s Chase Stockon is fourth (-61) and Lincoln Park winner Mitchel Moles (Raisin City, Calif.) is fifth (-71).
A $23,000 total purse is on the line for the top-eight in the final standings of the eight-race tour throughout the Hoosier state. The ISW champion will collect a $10,000 reward. A payout of $5,000 goes to second, $2,500 for third, $1,500 for fourth, $1,250 for fifth, $1,100 for sixth, $900 for seventh and $750 for eighth.
USAC Indiana Sprint Week resumes with round six on Friday night, July 29, at Bloomington Speedway featuring the USAC AMSOIL Sprint Car National Championship at the Sheldon Kinser Memorial.
Pits open at 4pm Eastern with the grandstands opening at 5pm, drivers meeting at 5:30pm and cars on track at 6:30pm with qualifying and racing to immediately follow. General admission tickets are $30 with ages 10 and under free. Pit passes are $35 for members, $30 for non-members & $15 for age 10 and under.
